History of the United States: From the Discovery of America to Today

The first 13 colonies

Although England was not the first nation to colonize the New World, in fact states like Holland and especially Spain preceded it, it is only with the English occupation that the true history of the country begins. The colonies autonomously endowed themselves with their own constitutions, which tended above all to guarantee the population civil, political and religious rights.

The world economy and especially the tourism sector inevitably suffered as many countries have closed their national borders. For this reason it is not yet possible to enter the United States for tourism and it is not yet possible to predict when the situation will change.
